Job Description
Insight Global is actively seeking a Special Inspector ICC to work in Aiken, South Carolina. The ideal candidates will have a range of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance. They will perform field observations, materials sampling/testing, and ensure that construction projects meet all required standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct field observations and materials testing during construction.
Perform tests on construction materials such as soils, concrete, and steel.
Write detailed daily field reports documenting contractor work and compliance.
Cast field samples for strength verification and deliver samples to the laboratory.
Communicate daily progress to the Department Manager.
Implement project management plans and quality management plans.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years in construction as a technician or inspector.
Radiation Safety training and soil density testing experience.
ICC Soils Special Inspector or NICET Level II certification.
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record. ICC Special Inspector Certifications in various disciplines.
IFC Special Inspector Premier Certificate.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
SC DLLR Special Inspector Registration. null
