Insight Global Unix System Administrator in Alexandria, Virginia
Job Description
One of our federal clients is looking for a Unix Systems Administrator with experience in Solaris and Linux to work onsite 2 3 days a week in Egg Harbor, NJ. They will be primarily responsible for supporting a 50 person development team with the installation, configuration, and management of the Linux OS virtual machines and the Solaris physical machines. They will help with the deployment and management of the Java based web applications and support the installation and configuration of application clusters, connection pooling, and proxy users in Websphere.
- Pay Range is $45-$50hr and $100k salary at conversion

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field
8+ years of experience with Linux/Solaris System Administration
Experience with WebSphere
Basic networking knowledge (Cisco routers/switches) null
