Insight Global Application Support Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking to add an Application Support Engineer to their team supporting the Entity Resolution Filter product. The tool is used to improve entity matching, automatically qualify alerts and establishing a prioritization of risk by leveraging AI techniques. The ideal candidate for this position will have 5 years of F#, SQL, and API development in tandem with extensive application support experience. It'd be considered nice to have if the candidate had experience with Python, Azure, and AI/ML knowledge as well. This role will be 70% support focused working with end users of the platform to resolve issues, explain features, assist with integrations and configurations, as well as solution development. The team is mainly based on the east coast, the ideal candidate will be based in the same region and time zone. The pay rate ranges based off years of experience from $50-60 per hour.

Skills and Requirements

* BS Engineering/Computer Science, or equivalent experience

* F# and.Net framework development experience

o ASP.NET Core Web API services or equivalents

o SQL Server or other RDBMS experience

* Experience with implementing CI/CD automation (Github Actions, TFS, Jenkins, TravisCI, etc.)

* Experience in support role working directly with end users to resolve issues

o Bug fixes, integrations, configurations, advanced systems troubleshooting, etc.

* Jira ticketing system

* Confluence

* Good oral and written communication to engage with peer development teams and end users * Experience with other Functional Programming (any language, e.g. OCaml, Haskell, Scala)

* Azure

* AI/ML/data science experience null
