Insight Global Embedded Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia
Job Description
A large electronic company in Alpharetta, GA is looking to hire Embedded C engineers to support their team in developing firmware and hardware in various electricity meter devices including radio and battery powered devices.
$60/hr to $75/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
- 5-10 years' experience programming with C, C+- Firmware development for an embedded system
- RTOS
- Development Tools: IAR, Oscilloscope, Logic analyzer
- Repository Management Tool: Git/Gerrit/Jenkin
- Exposure to Product Life Cycle and Software Development methodologies
- Familiarity with Wireless communication and Networking protocols
- Experience with RF networks, security encryption and packet-based networks are desirable.
- Experience with protocol stacks such as 802.15.4e, 6LowPAN, SNMPv2/3, DHCPv6, FTP is desirable.
- Bachelor's Or Master's in CS/Electronics/Electrical Engineering null
