Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the Lead Consultant/Services Architect for Palo Alto focused projects
Responsibilities include:
o Designing, planning, and implementing Palo Alto NGFW technologies for on-premise and cloud datacenters, large campuses, and remote sites
o Managing firewall migrations from various vendors to Palo Alto NGFWs
o Developing and implementing Panorama strategies for managing various tiers of NGFWs at scale
o Optimizing security policies to meet customer organization security requirements and align with industry best practices
o Conducting network security infrastructure design and implementation assessments
o Assisting with pre-sales scoping and providing level of effort estimates for new projects as a Palo services Subject Matter Expert (SME)
o Collaborating with the pre-sales Engineering/Architecture team to evaluate new network security technologies and solutions
o Assisting with training and development of services team members less experienced in Palo Alto technologies and projects

Skills and Requirements
Skills Requirements:
*Expert in Palo Alto NGFW - Hardware/Software FWs
*Proficient in Panorama and Prisma Access
*Strong network fundamentals, including Route/Switch
*Experienced in Design/Integration and Troubleshooting
*Focused on Network Security Engineering
Experience Requirements:
*Extensive experience with large-scale Palo Alto deployments managed via Panorama
*Proficient in datacenter and campus environments
*Experienced in complex Palo Alto migrations, including in-depth knowledge of Expedition for configuration migration
*Preferred experience in ASA to Palo Alto migrations
*Skilled in security policy analysis and optimization
*Knowledgeable in security profile best practices
*Experienced with App and User-based rules and security position tightening
*Advanced troubleshooting skills, with a proven track record of solving complex Palo Alto related issues null
