Insight Global TSSCI Palo Alto Engineer in Arlington, Virginia
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Palo Alto Engineer to sit in Arlington, VA! This person will be responsible for identifying and remediating misconfigurations, conflicting rules, security gaps, firewall, and load balancer security issues. This includes providing Tier 3 support to operations network administrators and maintaining all hardware and software components at vendor-supported levels. The position involves supporting the creation of monthly network device performance and traffic utilization reports, developing and participating in After Action Reports (AARs), and offering expert advice on managing and operating all Palo Alto devices. The role also includes interacting with senior stakeholders to set objectives and goals based on Palo Alto Networks technologies, evaluating current technologies and processes to identify gaps, and providing requirements and strategies for future cybersecurity operations.

Skills and Requirements
Active TSSCI and ability to sit and maintain a CI Poly
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of directly relevant experience. Add'l experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)- immediately
10+ years of hands-on Cisco / Palo Alto Firewall experience in both engineering and Operations and maintenance roles.
Comfortability brief and working with senior stakeholders for updates on the environment
Knowledge of palo alto concepts like Panorama Installation, Panorama HA Config, Panorama Template and Template Stacks Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners null
