Insight Global Remote PowerBI Developer in Asheville, North Carolina
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a PowerBI Developer to support a Manufacturing Engineering organization within the Asheville site. This individual will work with the business stakeholders and the Digital Technology (DT) organization to understand business requirements and design and deliver reports, dashboards, and Business Intelligence (BI) that will provide value to the business. The position will have a key focus on enterprise system integration and MS Dynamics solutions which will redefine the customer experience for employees, partners, and external customers. As business process and systems capabilities continue to advance, the BI solutions that are created will provide easy access, insights, data-driven decision making for teams. The BI Developer will also maintain a relentless focus on addressing other organizational opportunities to enhance our customer interactions by delivering the right solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create datasets for self-service reporting and service dashboard Publish reports via the Power BI service, managing them through distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access
Involve in workspace and capacity administration Interact with business users to understand the business needs, gather report specifications
Develop Business requirement documents, technical specifications and Design documents using appropriate documentation standards
Test and deploy the applications in various instances for development, testing, UAT and Production and fixing any defects identified Participate in meetings & scrum calls to understand the day-to-day work progress
Connecting to multiple data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence Supporting team members of various experiences to work as a cohesive team
Meet regularly with the data team to understand, analyze, and define requirements to then design the technical solution, and develop visualization reports and dashboards
Use program management tools to track intakes and monitor the progress.

Skills and Requirements
2-3 years of PowerBI experience
DBA Management experience
Database admin skills, know how to optimize code
SQL (familiar with SQL reporting)
SAP
General manufacturing operations knowledge Manufacturing experience
Bachelors degree in a technical field null
