Job Description
A Fortune 50 Retail client of Insight Global is seeking a strong Sr. Java Developer for an IT Supply Chain organization. This team is Agile and responsible for creating and maintaining sourcing applications. This is a fully backend team, so strong knowledge of Java is key. Good communication is required for this role as collaboration is critical.
The pay rate range available for this role will be between $60 - $70/hr.

Skills and Requirements
5-8+ years of experience with backend Java -- prefers version 21, but 11/17 are okay
Spring/Springboot and/or Quarkus (Quarkus is a big plus)
Strong GCP experience
Cassandra database or No SQL database experience
NOTE a bachelor's degree is not required, but if they do not have a bachelor's degree they will need to have additional experience
Experience working in an Agile environment Supply Chain/Retail experience - the more specific to the inventory sourcing and logistics space within retail the better, but not required
Quarkus framework
Experience doing design work or contributing to design sessions
GCP certification null
