Job Description

· Inspect electrical and controls work daily to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, applicable codes (NEC 70).

 · Review and update project schedule daily and identify constraints to project team.

 · Supervise electrical and controls contractor is properly staffing projects per schedules.

 · Fill out electrical and controls construction checklists to audit contractors scope of work.

 · Submit RFI to resolve construction, design, or fabrication issues.

 · Coordinate sequence of the work with electrical and controls contractors and collaborate with other trades involved.

 · Submit facility work permits to allow construction activities in active operational areas.

 · Verify electrical and controls contractors submit QC paperwork to properly request inspections.

 · Review submittals and identify any discrepancy, constructability, or value engineering opportunity.

 · Provide daily updates and progress photos of all electrical and controls work.

 · Support commissioning activities and completion of punchlist prior to turnover/close-out.

 · Perform material delivery inspections to ensure alignment with design specifications.

Attend and participate in daily meetings to coordinate with project team.

Skills and Requirements

· Related experience in general construction or commercial background (residential is not applicable)

  Oil & Gas is acceptable too

· Experience contributing

· Be familiar with NEC70 codes

· OSHA 30 Certification

· Familiarity with Microsoft applications

· Good communication

Ability to multi-task null
