Insight Global Emulation Engineer in Austin, Texas
Job Description
An employer is looking for an Emulation Engineer to join their team! This team member would be expected to bring a fresh perspective to improve and compile efficiency and provide deep technical expertise of ZeBu Compiler to improve mapping, place, and routing results. They will also work closely with R&D and Product Engineering teams to bring best practices and ensure that new features are productized. The ideal candidate for this role is a ZeBu veteran who has spent many years working on ZeBu/Emulation with large variety of customers. This person will be responsible for bringing high confidence to the customer to ensure first attempt compile pass.
The major activities where they will contribute positively include, but are not limited to:
1) Compile various configurations as requested by Customer.
2) Ensure that Compiles are successful.
3) Debug Failing Compiles and communicate with the teams to fix the failures.
4) Ensure that all the customer workloads are passing tests and communicate with the teams to fix the issues.
5) Ensure that all the hardware is up and running and used by software teams.
6) Optimize the Compile and runtime environment.
Pay Range: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour

Skills and Requirements
-6 to 8 years' experience within Emulation or FPGA
-Very strong background in ZeBu or related technology (HAPS, VELOCE, --PRIMO, PALLADIUM, PROTIUM)
-Significant experience in bringing up designs in ZeBu or related technologies
-Familiarity with UTF syntax
-Ability to quickly grasp the Customer environment to be able to run compiles independently quickly
-Expert in zBrowser and ability to debug netlists
-Waveform dumping experience
-Excellent understanding of efficiently using ZeBu QiWC/FWC and other signal tracing techniques
-Verdi debug experience
-Excellent Communication skills -HBM protocol expertise
-Experience with AI design
-Understanding of Firmware/Software null
