Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer for our customer in New Albany, Indiana! This engineer will be responsible for designing sealed system refrigerant systems to comply with 2024 EPA requirements. Will not be designing from scratch, rather, asses current state of sealed system refrigerant designs and work on components to get up to current EPA refrigerant standards. Will be using Creo and Solidworks to review 3D models of chillers and redesign as required.
The ideal candidate is experienced in sealed system refrigeration design, cooling, heat transfer, and understands how the controls behind refrigeration work.The customers this company sells their refrigerant models to are restaurants and convenient stores.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or similar required
7 years in Mechanical engineering
3 years of Designing sealed Refrigerant systems
3D Chiller modeling experience in Creo or SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
Strong understanding of how controls behind refrigeration works, skilled in heat transfer and cooling null
