Insight Global Data Analyst in Battle Creek, Michigan
Job Description
A customer of Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in tracking and analyzing lost time events within the organization. You'll collaborate with supervisors and team members to identify downtime, compile data, and create actionable reports. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: monitor production downtime and identify patterns, log and review lost time data, ensure adherence to established processes, collaborate with supervisors and team members to minimize lost time events, compile data from Excel, create and track action items, and compile reports into a centralized platform. You may also be asked to handle data requests and assess equipment shutdowns and outliers. The perfect candidate will be experienced with generating reports using Microsoft Excel, working within a database, and collaborating with other team members. This person should be comfortable working fully onsite in Battle Creek, MI. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

* Excel (VBA Visual Basic for Applications) programming * Computer science degree
* Hands on experience migrating data from Excel to Power BI
* Manufacturing experience
* PI (Plant Information) system experience
* Microsoft Access experience null
