Insight Global OpenShift Engineer in Bethesda, Maryland

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a mid to senior level OpenShift Engineer to join their team of 5. In this role, you will be working alongside the other team members to develop and plan out long-term goals and strategies. You will validate success of upgrades and progress of the work for the end customer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in large OpenShift environment, as well as working on building enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Azure. In this role, you will use development tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments. This role is offering between $60-85/hr.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of experience administering and architecting in an OpenShift environment

o Hand on experience within a Kubernetes and/or Docker environments

o Experience in advance cluster management and advance cluster security

 Experience meeting with external customers to understand project requirements, updates, and to provide guidance throughout the lifecycle

 Experience being a high-level point of escalation, reviewing the teams progress, and making adjustments as needed

 Ability to obtain a Public Trust Prior experience working with Centers for Medicaid and Medicare (CMS)

 AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

 Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift

 Certified Kubernetes Administrator

 Certified Jenkins Engineer null
