Insight Global Training Specialist in Bethesda, Maryland

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Training Specialist to play a key role in a large support organization. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to lead his/her assigned team and related company resources to provide support on an enterprise scale. This team member will lead training resources and work closely with Help Desk, Engineering and other parts of the support organization, and will collaborate with other teams and government staff to advance support objectives including efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall effectiveness of IT resources. The candidate will need to be local to the National Capital region.

Skills and Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Must be detail-oriented, organized, and can work under tight deadlines.

* Experienced task leader with an appreciation for all aspects of service desk operations and focused on facilitating operability, maintainability and security of end user computing devices through education and training.

* Have previous large government contract experience

* Be able to estimate, develop, organize and track training tasks across a complex organization

Technical Requirements (required and desired - specify):

Required:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to leadership, peers and subordinates

* 5 years progressive experience in a technical environment working in a federal government help desk operation chartered with large scale, multi-faceted IT support

* Supremely focused on customer satisfaction and support

* Excellent technical skills related to IT delivery.

* Experience training a live audience.

* Expert knowledge of training individuals on applications associated with O365.

* Expert knowledge in developing a training program

25-35/h, contract to hire ITIL V3 or V4 null
