Job Description

· Conforming with company safety regulations to produce a safe working environment and quality product.

· Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.

· Constructing base templates if necessary.

· Measuring and marking out, routing, cutting, and bending metals.

· Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, torches, welders, brakes, and shears.

· Double-checking design specifications before starting each job.

· Fabricating and constructing metal/wood components with such methods as welding, gluing, or fastening

· Knowledge of mig welding, tig welding, or laser welding.

· Fabrication may include grinding and finishing. Assembly may be required on finished products.

· Performing quality checks on completed products.

· Clocking in and out of each task and applying used raw materials to jobs.

Skills and Requirements

· High School diploma or GED

· Two years experience welding and fabrication or a combination of each.

· Forklift or Scissor Lift experience and/or certification

· Global Shop- timeclock, inventory management, Paylocity experience · Fields General carpentry, custom fabrication, welding

· Automotive finishing, Bondo

· Problem solver who can envision the end-product and make it real

· Excels in making the 3D from the 2D drawing

· Knowledge of mig welding, tig welding, or laser welding. null
