Insight Global Freelance Translator in Brampton, Ontario
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a fully remote freelance translator for the French-Canadian market at a large Canadian retail client to ensure consumer-focused, compliant translations for packaging and marketing material(s).
Key responsibilities:
-Provide consistent delivery of consumer-focused translation for the French-Canadian market, aligned with Canadian packaging, marketing & advertising regulations.
-Translate packaging components including product name and descriptors, creative marketing copy, nutrition information, ingredients, allergens, and claims.
-Work with copywriters, regulatory affairs, proofreaders, graphic designers and other stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and execution of strategy on-pack.
-Deliver high quality, accurate translations in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment.
-Ensure translation adheres to brand standards and internal style guide and maintains consistency.

Skills and Requirements
-Bilingual French Canadian
-College diploma or higher in related field
-Translation certification
-1-3 years translation experience (English to French)
-Knowledge of Quebec market
-Comfortable working 25-30 hours per week -Experience translating within the packaging and marketing material(s) space. null
