Insight Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist in Burlington, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join one of our largest chemical and water clients in the Toronto area. This person will be working within the Regulatory Affairs division working to serve as the regulatory correspondent for regulatory matters with external agencies such as Health Canada, Environment Canada, etc. while being the liaison with Canadian authorities for support of registrations/licenses that have been and will be submitted. You will author and submit reports to Health Canada and Environment and Climate Change Canada for applicable products & substances and conduct reviews of product complaints and submit reportable adverse events/incidents, and recall documentation to Health Canada. This role will be a mix of chemistry/physics and IT by working with complex chemicals and utilizing SAP modules specific to the organization. This will be remote to start with but will transition to a hybrid model in the coming months. Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, biology, or other scientific/technical discipline

  • Database management skills

  • Very detail oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable learning various regulatory programs like OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc.

  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment - SAP experience

  • Experience working with SDSs null
