Insight Global Software Programmer in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Job Description
A manufacturing client of Insight Global's is actively searching for a Software Programmer to join their collaborative team onsite in Chattanooga, TN. The majority of the day-to-day will be centered around managing existing code, writing new code from scratch based on customer requests, and troubleshooting bugs. A successful candidate will have a strong foundation developing and maintaining software applications using C#.NET as this is the most critical skill for the role. In addition, proficiency designing user interfaces with Windows Forms and WPF or good experience building out Windows desktop applications. This individual will be managing data using SQLite or other SQL platforms and have a versatile background programming in JavaScript. Overall, this software programmer will possess a solid understanding of the software development life cycle, algorithms, data structures, system processes, testing methodologies, and source code repositories.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related
5+ years of experience programming in C# and .NET
Experience with the full software development life cycle pertaining to algorithms, data structures, system processes, testing, and source code repositories
Strong foundation creating desktop applications in WPF or Windows Forms - Experience within a manufacturing setting null
