Insight Global Medical Laboratory Technician in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Medical Lab Technician for a client in Cheyenne Wells Colorado! The MLT will complete the following responsibilities:

Responsible for performing all aspects of patient care in a laboratory environment that optimizes patient safety with minimal medical/health care errors. Verifies questionable results or samples and repeat procedure as necessary. Demonstrates ability to function in all areas of the clinical laboratory including blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology, urinalysis, and phlebotomy. Performs routine phlebotomy services as needed.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Permanent Hourly Pay Rate: $26.08-35.42

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience conducting chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, and spinal fluid to determine presence of normal and abnormal components.

  • Experience analyzing laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the results.

  • Experience collecting and studying blood samples to determine the number of cells, their morphology, or their blood group, blood type and compatibility for transfusion purposes. null
