Insight Global Packaging Engineer 2 in Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Description
An employer is seeking a Packaging Engineer for a long term contract opportunity in the Blue Ash, OH area. This packaging engineer will be joining engineering department and partnering closely with New Product Development as well as the Lifecycle team to develop packaging systems to meet end client needs in the Medical Device industry. They will be required to lead and support engineering design changes and be hands on in the package laboratory to test and simulate transportation distribution strategies. They will also serve as a technical writer in addition to creating component drawings and specifications. A detailed background in Med Tech is ideal and we are looking for someone in the 1-7 years of experience range looking to grow within the organization. Prior working knowledge of ISO 11607, 13485 or 15223 makes for the ideal candidate.

Skills and Requirements
1-7 years of packaging engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Working experience with ISO 11607, 13485 or 15223
Autonomous personality that can run cradle to grave with packaging requirements
Strong technical writing and component drawing knowledge in CAD
Can work on site 3 days a week with 10% travel J&J Med Tech background
Windchill PLM experience null
