Insight Global Python Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Description
An employer is seeking a Python Engineer for a contract to hire role in the Cincinnati area. This is a hybrid role and candidates should be willing to come onsite 2-3 days per week. This role will be supporting the fulfillment space and there are about 40 individuals working in this space currently. This group supports a platform that is currently in production and has been running for the last 2 years. They pull real time data from 2500 retail stores, transform that data, and use it for fulfilling orders (picking orders) which affects in stock and delivery. This platform is built already but they are working on providing metrics to all the stores and up to the executive levels.
Analyze, design and develop enterprise data and information architecture deliverables, focusing on data as an asset for the enterprise. Understand and follow reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, and configurations to deliver valuable data and information across the enterprise, including direct collaboration with 84.51, where needed.
Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures

Skills and Requirements
5+ years in object oriented programming
5+ years of Python Programming
Advanced SQL experience
Experience with any cloud technology (prefer Azure, Cosmos DB, Synapse but not required) DataBricks (moving towards this)
CI/CD experience null
