Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AI/ML Ops Platform Engineer for one of our largest clients in Cleveland, Ohio. The Senior Platform Engineer role is responsible for designing, building, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and maintaining platforms within the current technology environment. The role involves analyzing complex technical problems, developing appropriate solutions to maintain the overall integrity of the platform, including operating systems, hardware and software infrastructure that are critical to the company's user populace and application environments. They collaborate with other IT professionals such as Application, Architect, and Database Engineers to ensure that all components of the platform are working efficiently, securely, and resiliently. The Platform Engineer uses their extensive knowledge of both traditional and modern platforms to ensure high performance and reliability of the company's infrastructure, including both cloud and on-premises systems, in support of DevOps efforts and general business and IT objectives.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
* Maintain the platform hardware, software, and network requirements in alignment with business needs and organizational standards defined
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise to continuously improve platforms in alignment with application goals
* Manage and configure DevOps tools (such as API Gateway, Teraform) to support processes as per organizational needs
* Collaborate with DevOps engineering and production team to update, troubleshoot and maintain platforms and environments to bring new features and services into production
* Identify, prioritize, implement and maintain automated and orchestrated fulfillment mechanisms to optimize delivery of key platform services
* Coordinate the tasks of other teams that work within the target platform to ensure smooth operations
* Identify and mitigate security threats to comply with a strict security compliance
* Develop and implement security and resiliency policies, standards, and procedures to protect the infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulations
* Produce high-level design documentation where required
* Conduct technical research regarding user requests for new/modified systems or problem resolution
* Manage vendor relationships and discussions related to design docs, platform changes, and other modifications, as needed

Skills and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in IT related field
* 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering and infrastructure components
* Previous experience developing & deploying MLOps solutions
o Ability to analyze and troubleshoot MLOps solutions and related issues
* Experience with Dataiku or other AI platforms
* Experience managing/maintaining cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
* Monitoring and log management tools (Splunk, Nagios, ELK, etc.)
* Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell and Bash * Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
* Data Science background null
