Insight Global Director, EDI in Cleveland, Ohio

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Director, Enterprise B2B/EDI for one of our largest clients in Downtown Cleveland. This individual will be responsible for leading the strategy for B2B/EDI design and development of solutions for the flow of information between the client's enterprise systems and third-party systems. As the Director, this person will be responsible for the strategic direction to the team and will be acting as the liaison among internal and external stakeholders (sales, customer service, supply chain operations, logistic partners, etc.) to communicate and validate requirements supporting the evolution of the global B2B/EDI vision.

The Director will be overseeing a global team of approximately 20 individuals, including on-shore and off-shore individuals. This person should portray servant leadership, have the ability to build and maintain teams, and should understand challenges within the team while having their team's best interest in mind.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

* Responsible for overseeing development of the architecture, implementation, and ongoing management (ensuring availability, performance, and scalability/evolution) of the enterprise B2B/EDI systems and processes.

* Champion and educate peers on B2B / EDI concepts.

* Identify opportunities and implement enhancements to further automate and scale the B2B/EDI platforms and processes.

* Identify and evaluate industry trends in B2B and EDI integration technologies, to serve as a source of information and advice for upper management. Oversee detailed research of vendor products, to identify those that can best help serve the needs of business.

* Work with peers to ensure that B2B/EDI processes are an integral and accessible component of the Integrated Digital Platform.

* Ensure timely and high-quality technical support (ticket resolution, uptime, maintenance, enhancements).

* Advise on and ensure support of M&A, systems conversions, and other shared B2B/EDI projects from a technology perspective.

* Develop the strategy for and oversee implementation of monitoring, measuring, and reporting on the utilization, performance, and cost of the B2B/EDI capabilities.

* Provide implementation, production and support to delivery teams leveraging the B2B/EDI processes.

* Align on the KPIs that matter to business and technical stakeholders regarding B2B/EDI Integrations. Provide visibility to KPIs via scorecards or dashboards.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science related field

- 12+ years of professional IT experience, 8+ years of experience leading direct reports

- 6+ years of EDI mapping and support experience

- Experience guiding the development of new EDI system processes and interfaces.

- Strong experience with FTP, AS2, or VAN communication protocols.

- Experience with cross-cultural management

- Extensive experience working with Sterling Integrator (client's main translation tool)

- Heavy technical background -- should have the ability to speak to technical individuals and help drive the future architecture of EDI - Manufacturing/Consumer Products industry experience

- Experience with full lifecycle 3PL implementations null
