Insight Global Senior Data FinOps Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data FinOps Engineer for one of our largest clients in Downtown Cleveland. This individual will be joining the Data and Finance Operations team, responsible for providing financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and consumption analysis including KPIs, showback, and capacity across managed data platforms running in the cloud and on-prem. The Engineer will be pulling and analyzing data from a handful of different sources of information, including internal and external sources, utilizing and working with tools and technologies such as SQL, Tableau, Cloudability, IDMC, Snowflake, and more. This team is growing, therefore candidates must have an open and problem-solving mindset and should be open to learning new technologies in a flexible environment.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
4+ years of professional data analysis
Knowledge of FinOps principles
Strong relationship management experience -- ability to effectively communicate and tell stories to senior management.
Strong SQL experience
Experience with Tableau reporting and dashboards
General Cloud knowledge
Finance background/interest Snowflake experience (client's main data warehouse)
Apex Programming experience null
