Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Radar/RCS Missile Modeling Engineer to join a classified program to support Missile Tracking and Prediction. The position will be based in Colorado Springs, CO. This group is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products. You will be responsible for the development of models and simulations (M&S) used to stimulate element models, including kinematic missile modeling, IR and RF signatures modeling, data production/analysis activities, and maintenance/sustainment activities for the entire software baseline. The Mission Support Threat Engineer role serves as a missile threats specialist, threats model developer, and a verifier and validator of threat representations across the kinematic, RF, and IR signatures domains. Must have a good understanding of modeling and simulation methods and processes. Must be familiar with Radar Cross Section (RCS), and Infrared Signatures concepts -- to include physics behind hard body heating and reflection. To proficiently support our mission, the Mission Support Threat Engineer will be involved in direct discussions and collaborations with our customers, threat stakeholders, intelligence analysts, and fellow engineers in order to best capture the requirements for developing and delivering accurate and relevant threat models. Compensation will vary by experience and education (multiple levels of positions open) and can range from $79,300-$181,400.

Skills and Requirements
* Active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret with access to SCI
* Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 2-10+ years of relevant experience
* Must already possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
* Ability to collaborate with systems engineers, software engineers, model end users, and MDA ground test stakeholders to ensure product requirements are met
* Strong knowledge of Radar systems, Radar Cross Sections, scattering models.
* Ability to develop radar system model representations from radar specifications.
* Understanding of the flight characteristics, motion, and performance of missile systems.
* Understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission, reflection, scattering.
* Experience with verification and validation of Radar (RCS) simulation results. * Experience in modeling missile signature representations to include Radar Cross Section.
* Ability to run method of moments codes.
* Experience developing FACET models from CAD.
* Understanding and experience with High Performance Computing architectures.
* Ability to reduce simulation outputs to RCS averages and scattering point representations. null
