Insight Global Public Sector Account Executive in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

A large Value Added Reseller is seeking an Account Executive to join their powerful Public Sector sales team. The Account Executive is responsible for selling all products and services offered their targets and their existing clients. A qualified candidate will have excellent sales skills with at least 3-5 years of experience in direct selling, creating, and developing in-person relationships with customers. This position must meet their assigned targets consistently while searching for growth opportunities with existing customers and new logos. This is a permanent opportunity with that must sit in either Ohio, Michigan, or Illinois. This candidate will need 3+ years selling in the Public Sector / SLED space. This position offers a base pay of 90-125k with the opportunity to earn commission and bonuses.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of direct selling experience in Network and Data Technology

-3+ years of experience in selling to Public Sector / SLED Accounts

  • Demonstrates sales ability and technical aptitude within data center, infosec, storage, cloud, and network

  • Ability to call on and work directly with C level executives in mid to large enterprise to close business opportunities

  • Proven track record of territory development including new business accounts

  • Brings existing contacts/customer relationships to client

  • Experience selling manufacturing products like Cisco, Genesys, Avaya, Dell, HP, etc null
