Insight Global ETL Data Engineer in Costa Mesa, California
Job Description
A large financial corporation is looking to hire a Data Engineer. This individual will be designing and developing ETL data pipelines in an AWS environment. This person will be working with existing data and new data that's being introduced into the environment. They will also be working with an existing team that is implementing various solutions using Python to process different data types. The data pipelines are tied to Tableau so experience with Tableau is a plus. There will be a ramp up training period but this person is expected to be able to hit the ground running by the end of their first month with little to no direction. The ability to cross collaborate with team members and management is highly important as there are multiple projects going on at a given time. This person must work PST hours and it is highly preferred that they are on the west coast.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience within Data Engineering
Experience with developing and maintaining scaled ETL processes
Expert level in SQL programming & Python
Strong knowledge of Apache Airflow or equivalent tools for data pipeline orchestration
Extensive experience working in an AWS environment
Strong proactive communication skills and ability to multitask in projects Experience with Tableau
Certifications in AWS null
