Insight Global REMOTE Surgical Coding Supervisor (Profee) in Dallas, Texas
Job Description
Day-to-Day:
o Overseeing 8 surgical Coders specializing in Urology profee coding.
o Responsibilities as a manager
Monitoring metrics and productivity
Audit issues and educating coders
HR type admin side - processing payroll, approving timesheets/managing time, submit requests for access, new codes and excel skills for reporting. Looking at lag days, turnaround time, and keeping coders focused and on track.
o Auditing coders and providing education to get coders on the same page
o Responsible for tracking coder productivity in excel - look at different reports and run those, combine those and see what they are doing
o Need a hands on supervisor that can jump in and help team at month end if they need to get caught up on coding or working claims

Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
o Total of 6 years medical revenue cycle background.
Min 2 years of profee Urology coding experience
2 years managing and delegating as a lead or supervisor..
o Associates in finance, business, or equivalent OR 4 years of medical revenue cycle background.
o Certifications
CPC is the preferred certification OR CCSP
If specialty specific has to be general or urology
CCS okay IF they have to have very strong profee experience ENT and neck surgical experience
Multi-Specialty experience within Thoracic and General Surgery null
