Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Architect to join one of our largest automotive customers on their Purview implementation journey. This Architect should have experience with Azure Purview (formerly Azure Data Catalog) and have the level of expertise on Purview needed to assist with the plan, set up, configuration and execution. This resource will pull data from different sources to understand the current environment and different protocols . Once up to speed, this resource will go through the requirements line by line, with a heavy focus on data lineage to provide proper documentation and explain the findings and discussing best practices & tooling at scale. Additional responsibilities to include create and manage sensitive information types, create and configure sensitivity labels with Microsoft Purview. Implement the Microsoft Purview Extension, implement information protection and data loss prevention with Microsoft Purview. This role can pay up to 83-100/hr for the correct experience.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years as a Solution Architect with a focus on security projects
5+ years experience with Microsoft Azure Purview (formerly Azure Data Catalog)
Experience with Azure Purview risk and compliance components
2 years: Azure Information Protection (MIP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Azure, Sentinel (monitoring, alerting and reporting.)
Experience in setting up and maintaining Data Governance and compliance policies
Ability to manage metadata, data lineage and data discovery
An understanding of data security concepts Azure Data Fundamentals Security Related Certifications Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate null
