Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a strong Network Configuration Engineer to help a growing team. You will be working for a team with a focus within Radio and fixed access Networking. We need a candidate that has a strong growth attitude, that wants to learn new skill sets and work with a growing team. You will be partnering with hardware teams, taking over with the configuring of devices after they get through the setup phase. This will have a pay rate of $42-45hr

Skills and Requirements

• Baseline configuration - IP address, SNMP, inventory additions

• Configuration validation - reachable, correct configurations

• CCNA/CCENT/JNCIA level of experience

• Knowledge if following a configuration script (playbook)

• understanding of basic protocols within networking

• 2+yrs of experience

-Familiarity with light levels and DWDM (Understanding of Optical systems)

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team, cross functional background is key Coming from a telecom background (fiber to home) null
