Job Description
A customer is seeking a fully remote DB2 Systems Programmer.
Day-to-day database maintenance
Creating backups, performing restores, monitoring file extent growth
Scheduling reorganizations, creating and maintaining DR procedures
Support of customer needs and requests.
Fulfill customer service orders (CSOs) for mainframe z/OS customers
We can pay $60-70/h for this opportunity

Skills and Requirements
5 years of DB2 system programmer experience
Experience in DB2 for administration and systems programming support.
SMP/e experience
Experience with configuring and managing DB2 in a parallel sysplex environment
Experience with establishing policies and procedures pertaining to database management, DR, security, maintenance, and utilization
Experience supporting DB2 security requests
Eperience with reviewing, tuning of internal DB2 buffer pools and SQL code - CA and IBM tools for DB2 null
