Insight Global Full-Stack Engineer in East Hartford, Connecticut
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an engineer to join their team either in New Haven County (Tuesday and Thursday) or fully remote (with the ability to come in twice a quarter). This team is responsible for aftermarket analytics for all internal customers. As part of a mature scrum pod, you'll help manage a platform that 600 users have access to. Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
-Utilizing PostgreSQL and Python to migrate data into Zeta cloud (primarily Azure Govt and AWS), accounting for approximately 70% of your time. At times you will be supporting the front-end environment using Django
-Spending 25% of your time on delivery and closing ZenHub/Jira board tickets and documenting processes.
-Allocating 5% of your time to internal meetings, including stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and ad hoc tasks.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering
Recent experience (3+ years) in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
Proficiency in deploying applications from SQL databases
Strong Python programming skills
Familiarity with relational databases (specifically PostgreSQL)
Proficient in Django
Recent work in a mature Agile scrum team, with the ability to efficiently manage backlog tickets through ZenHub or Jira. Recent experience supporting DOD and Government projects
Pay Rate: $65-75/hr depending on experience null
