Insight Global Release Manager in Englewood, Colorado
Job Description
Our client is a Fortune 100 telecommunications company, and their IP Video Operations organization is looking for an adaptable, organized, and effective Release Manager to join their team to drive projects, deadlines, and processes.
On a day-to-day basis, candidates will:
- Interface cross-functionally with software engineering and operations team for video product features, functionalities, and deployments.
- Operate as a release manage responsible for combining Scrum, Agile, and Process practices.
- Utilize Jira to write complex user stories that capture the needs of our customers to drive in-depth video-product usage analytics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define metrics, track progress, and ensure our products meet the evolving needs of the user base.
- Oversee releases that are deployed every 2-3 weeks amongst two teams consisting of roughly 40 engineers (each team manages about 10 release per week).
- Work in an environment where priorities, tasks, and direction may change frequently.
- Support project deadlines in an effective manner with various stakeholders, leaders, and engineers.
- Perform various reporting in Excel and Smartsheets, develop tables and charts, and create executive level PowerPoint decks in a clean and consumable manner.
- This role has a vast pay range as our client is open to junior, mid and senior level candidates. The range could be anywhere from $50-$70/hour, depending on years and level of experience.

Skills and Requirements
- 2-4+ years working as a Release Manager or Scrum Master
- Strong Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables)
- Jira & Chalk
- Adaptable and strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
- Cable, telecom, or telephone/voice background - Video background null
