Insight Global Payroll/Benefits Coordinator in Erie, Pennsylvania

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Payroll/Benefits Coordinator to join their team in Erie, PA. You will be responsible for the execution of all payroll and benefits activities for approximately 200+ employees within the US by ensuring that all employees receive their entitled benefits and pay all while acting in accordance with Company policy and Federal, State, and local regulations.

Payroll Duties:

  • Lead payroll transition and implementation project on a tight schedule.

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees.

  • Verify timekeeping records, handle deductions (levies, garnishments), and reconcile payroll.

  • Manage special payments (sign-on bonuses, relocation packages).

  • Address payroll-related inquiries from HR, managers, and employees.

  • Ensure compliance with audit procedures and tax regulations.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments.

Benefits Duties:

  • Administer employee benefit programs (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.).

  • Handle enrollment, changes, and terminations.

  • Communicate effectively with employees about benefits.

  • Conduct benefits orientation for new hires.

  • Maintain accurate records in benefits systems.

  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and ensure compliance.

  • Provide timely responses to benefit inquiries.

  • Generate regular reports for management.

  • Collaborate with finance team for budgeting and forecasting.

  • Improve benefits administration processes.

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing

  • Experience with both salary & hourly payroll

  • Experience with payroll tax compliance

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll and benefits administration processes and regulations.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, basic formulas, etc.) - Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, HR, or related field

  • Experience with benefits enrollment

  • Certified payroll professional (CPP)

SAP/ADP system experience null
