Insight Global Software Engineer - Remote in Findlay, Ohio
Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a strong .Net Azure Developer to work fully remote. The day-to-day responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
Pay Rate: $55-75/hour
Working in an Agile Scrum team with a focus on internally developed applications and integrations, this will include absorbing other legacy applications that will need to be transitioned to Azure.
Supporting and enhancing existing internally developed .NET, Azure Applications.
Interacting with the business and other partnering IT groups on application questions, planning enhancements, etc.
Object oriented design and development.
Azure Development, Azure DevOps Continuous Improvement; Originating actions to improve existing conditions and processes.
Identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas and implementing solutions.
Estimated Hourly Pay Rate: $ 60-68/hr

Skills and Requirements
Mid-range developer / 5+ years
Azure and .NET / must be Azure
Custom .NET Applications that support pipeline and updating them to new .NET platform
Legacy .NET and Core .NET and updating -- targeting .NET8
SQL Server back end database
SAFe Agile environment
20% Meetings to Agile Ceremonies -- 80% heads down development
10-12 team members on the core product team / 5 total on this focus of tech-development project
Having done a .NET upgrade is more important than domain/utility background
AZ204 Certification -- highly preferred, not required
Unit testing null
