Insight Global Radiation Therapist in Fort Worth, Texas
Job Description
Day-to-Day *
* Equipment: Mosaiq record and verify system; TrueBeam, HDR and SBRT SRT program.
* Schedule: 8am-4:30pm shift and about 30 min for lunch
* See about 27 patients a day
* Have chemo there and lots of people, medical Onc, billing, lab
* Type of patients you see would be breast, prostate, lung, head neck and brain - No pediatrics.
The essential duties and responsibilities:
Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
Accurately enters and maintains patient treatment parameters into electronic medical record. Participates in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
Assists in maintaining patient appointment schedule and submitting correct billing information.
Accurately cuts blocks, when applicable.
Accurately makes custom molds.
Accurately completes simple mu calculations.
Accurately interprets a computerized treatment plan.

Skills and Requirements
* ARRT therapist certification required. ARRT: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RTT)
* Must hold valid Texas license for radiation therapy.
* Experience working with TrueBeam or similar equipment. Plusses
* CT SIM Experience
* HDR
* SRS, SPRT
* DIBH null
