Insight Global Senior Scrum Master - GenAI in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Description

As a Senior Scrum Master at Alcon Labs, youll play a critical role in driving the success of our GenAI projects. Youll lead three product teams across platform, enterprise service, and marketing, totaling over 40 people. Responsibilities:

 Scrum Leadership: Guide the scrum teams through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team.

 Agile Facilitation: Organize and facilitate sprint planning, release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile-related events.

 Metrics and Communication: Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management. Assist with internal and external communication.

 User Story Estimation: Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

 Backlog Management: Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs. Assist product owners with backlog grooming.

 Commitment and Velocity: Help the team make appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition. Promote continuous improvement and increase velocity.

 Conflict Resolution: Facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts within the team.

 Collaborative Environment: Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages experimentation, creativity, and innovation.

Skills and Requirements

- 10+ years of relevant IT experience working as a Scrum Master/ Agile Lead

- Specific experience leading GenAI Projects in enterprise organizations this role will be responsible or 3 product teams (40+ people)

- Experience with Atlassian Agile Products -specifically JIRA and Confluence, Bit Bucket

- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development processes.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and work experience.

- Strong experience working in SAFe, leading Scrum of Scrums

- Experience working on a global team in multiple time zones/ cultures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- strong experience communicating with product teams and executive leadership - Experience working in the healthcare/pharma industry understand regulatory environments

- Specific experience with GenAI tools and technology (Azure, OpenAI, GTP Turbo 35)

- Experience coming from a technical background -started career as a developer or engineer

- Additional Agile or Scrum Certifications null
