Insight Global Phlebotomist in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Phlebotomist for one of our Fortune 500 Medical Device clients in Franklin Lakes, NJ. This person will work in the R&D Laboratory within the collections room alongside a team of other Phlebotomists. They will obtain and prepare specimens for analysis and perform various screening tests. Their main responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients for testing and research purposes. They will assess 8-12 patients per day and be expected to run 3-4 studies per day.
General Responsibilities:
Determine the right venipuncture method based on patient age, health etc.
Draw blood using sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment
Keep accurate records on fluid specimens and tests
Contribute to the general laboratory functions and institutional needs

Skills and Requirements
3+ years' experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
Phlebotomy Certification Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) / National Health-Career Association (NHA) or National Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam from National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
Experience with venipuncture and finger sticks or fingerpicks
Friendly and outgoing personality - ability to connect with various types of patients null
