Insight Global Software Engineer in Fremont, California
Job Description
The software engineer will play a key role in the development and enhancement of navigation software projects. The candidate will be responsible for adapting the navigation software to adhere to established coding standards, focusing on thorough documentation and dockerization of the code.
PR: $30 - $35/hour

Skills and Requirements
- Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain software applications using C and C++.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new software features.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
- Work with the Robot Operating System (ROS) to develop and enhance software components.
- Use GIT for version control and source code management.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality to align with Google C++ coding standards.
- Document code consistently and effectively using Doxygen where applicable.
- Required Skills:
- Proficient in programming with C and C++.
- Experience with Docker, ROS, and GIT.
- Familiarity with Google C++ coding standards is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Doxygen for documentation is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
