Insight Global Data Engineer - INTL in Glen Allen, Virginia
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an offshore Remote Data Engineer for one of our large insurance clients. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and help us manage our delta lake service, migrate and replicate data into the cloud, and build and rewrite stored procedures using Spark. You will also be responsible for creating new data marts and data shapes, developing ETL processes, and populating databases. You will work closely with business partners and other data professionals to deliver high-quality data solutions that support our business objectives.
Pay Rate - 25-35/hr

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer utilizing SQL, Python, Databricks, and Azure
Experience with delta lake, Spark, and other cloud technologies for data engineering
Experience with data migration and replication tools and techniques
Experience with SQL and other programming languages for data processing and analysis
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts and architectures
Experience with ETL tools and frameworks
Experience with database design, development, and administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills null
