Insight Global Sr. Structural Engineer in Hagerstown, Maryland
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Structural Engineer in the Greater Hagerstown area. This individual will design, evaluate, and certify cutting-edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle. Pay range is between $93 - $94/hr.

Skills and Requirements
BA in Engineering
10+ years of experience
Strong experience with Finite Element structural analysis tools - MSC Patran, Nastran, FEMAP and/or ANSYS
Experience performing fatigue and damage tolerance analysis - NASGRO or AFGROW
Strong experience with classical hand calculations with respect to aircraft structure
Ability to author substantiation reports
Ability to obtain a clearance Aerospace & Defense experience
Experience on Aircraft Modification and/or FAA Certification programs
Experience on Commercial Derivative Aircraft
Experience working with/at any Tier 1 Aerospace organization null
