Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Staff Accountant to be responsible for maintaining financial records at a local client. They work as part of a team, ensuring compliance with IRS rules, reconciling bank statements, and balancing the ledger for regular reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
Data Entry and Reconciliations:
Accurately enter accounting-related information into business logs.
Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
Reconcile accounts to ensure correctness.
Journal Entries and General Ledger:
Prepare and post journal entries.
Maintain the general ledger.
Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
Debits and Credits:
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
Excel Proficiency:
Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.

Skills and Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as an accountant.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excel - Pivot tables and V Look Ups
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Oracle null
