Job Description
A midstream pipeline company in downtown Houston is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team. This team functions as the liaison between IT and the measurement teams. They support the measurement system from a testing standpoint and management standpoint. They focus on building requirements and testing the measurement system. They then work with their users to see what they need out of the system. The users are internal employees, primarily in volume processing and balancing groups (all in measurement). They also send data downstream to EHS teams and they work with them to make sure the data they get from a measurement standpoint is what they need.
Right now, this team is focused on application stabilization. They need this resource to help work through a lot of different issues within the in house-built application. They need to make sure its stable and ready so they can start and go into the phase of significant enhancements. This team has been working towards this effort for the last 7-8 months and they expect it to go on for a few more months. Then they will move to the next phase: enhancement. This individual will be capturing test case and executing on those test cases. Everything they do is manual and there is no automated softwares to help with testing. This person will step in and build test plans and cases, as well as execute on them and capture bug reports and work with IT to fix and re-test. Theyll work directly with users to do user acceptance testing as well.

Skills and Requirements
-5 years of experience dealing with data and testing (manual)
-SQL experience (verifying data & querying)
-Experience with Jira for testing
-Experience with all MS Tools (SQL server, management studio, POWERBI, SSRS)
-Experience creating dashboards & reports null
