Insight Global Desktop Support Analyst in Houston, Texas

Job Description

An employer in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Desk Analyst. This person will be joining a team of 2 and will be supporting around 70 tickets per week. This role will be an even split of 50% phone support and 50% desk side support. He or she will be responsible for handling inbound phone support for their internal corporate employees and commercial locations. They will be handling software and hardware issues related to password resets, adding/removing users via Active Directory, troubleshooting Office 365, Outlook tickets, laptop and printer issues. He or she will also be imaging laptops and PC's. This person will escalate any unresolved issues/tickets accordingly. He or she will also need great communication skills, leadership capabilities and open to a on call rotation working weekends. This role is 100% onsite Monday Friday.

Skills and Requirements

1+ years of experience in a Service Desk or Desktop Support role

Experience troubleshooting Active Directory tickets for adding/removing users, password resets, and provisioning access.

Experience imaging laptops and desktops as well as troubleshooting hardware issues related to workstations, laptops, printers, and POS systems

Experience utilizing a ticketing system null
