Insight Global Regional Ocean Head in Houston, Texas
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Regional Ocean Freight Leader for one of their top clients headquartered in Houston, TX. This individual will have 15 direct reports and report directly into the North America Ocean Freight Vice President. He / She will be responsible for managing their team but also contracts within their region. They will need to be familiar with Ocean laws and need to have at least 6 years on industry experience. This person will need to have strong communication skills and work well in a team environment.

Skills and Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Operations, Transportation or Supply Chain
*Experience in cargo freight operations management
*Minimum 5-8 years relevant operations experience in Transportation and Logistics disciplines
*At least 5 years' experience in Logistics Service Providers management
*Strong people management skills null
