Insight Global Senior Maintenance Specialist in Houston, Texas
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Maintenance Specialist for a client in the Houston area. This individual will join the Manufacturing Machine Maintenance team and will act as an NC (Numerical Controls) Technician. The ideal candidate for this role will have around 15 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing control systems. Day-to-day, this person will be responsible for ensuring the machines are operating efficiently, maintaining the equipment, and equipment breakdowns. This will involve diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of the Fanuc and Mazatrol control systems. They will complete the items on their daily task list which include maintaining the lubrication and hydraulics of the machines as well as any preventative maintenance work. They will also conduct visual inspections of the machines to maintain their general conditions, highlighting any issues observed to be addressed by the relative group.

Skills and Requirements
Experience of diagnosis and repair on CNC machine tools manufactured by Fives, Giddings & Lewis, and Mazak
Experience with Fanuc control systems
Machine tool mechanical knowledge
Knowledge of AC and DC drives used in linear axis control and spindle controls
Understanding of precise measuring systems Experience with Mazatrol control systems
Knowledge of mechanical adjustments on machine tools
Experience of weld cladding equipment null
