Insight Global Software Engineer in Houston, Texas
Job Description
A client in the Houston, TX area is looking for a Software Engineer to join their R&D team. This person will be tasked with multiple responsibilities to assist the team in their goals. The first goal is to assist the team to own the algorithm to make the product agnostic. This will require standardizing the API and message bussing to build the product. The second goal is to implement best practices in logging requests for their database to retain the memory of incoming http requests. The third goal is to create a standardized platform (python library) to test the algorithms for the products. This will require writing scripts and visualization for the team to develop and test in real-time. This role requires highly technical engineers with experience with machine learning algorithms. This role requires being onsite 10 days/month in Houston, TX and will have an hourly pay ranging from $35-$45/hour.

Skills and Requirements
2-3 years of experience in Software Engineering working with machine learning algorithms
Experience writing code in Python, C, or C+Experience designing and standardizing Web APIs
Experience working with Microservices Experience implementing best practices for database management
Highly technical Domain Experience
