Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Datalink and Communications SME to provide support to a client on Redstone Arsenal in support of a Future Uncrewed Aerial System. The SME shall evaluate and advise on the integration of a variety of datalink and communications subsystems into multiple vendor offerings for the Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (FTUAS) rapid prototyping competition developmental test effort and follow-on operational assessment. They will also be responsible for analyzing data resultants from both developmental and operational test events and advise the Government on datalink and communication systems performance versus contractual requirements, user capability requirements, and also advise the Government on the ability to meet pending or future anticipated requirements.
The SME will conduct analyses of vendor production contract proposals and inform the Government effort in the areas of datalink and communication systems capabilities and proposal accuracy and will advise the Government in development and/or selection of datalinks and communication systems that align with acquisition schedules, future user requirements, and the FTUAS S&T roadmap. The FTUAS is a Group 3 Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) with an air vehicle weight that will not exceed 250 lbs. Applicable datalinks include SWAP compliant technologies that provide voice, data, and C2 capability in an A2/AD environment, to include Type-1 encryption considerations. The SME will provide reports and briefings to senior management describing datalinks and communications systems program status, issues, analyses, findings, results, recommendations, and conclusions as appropriate.

Skills and Requirements
DoD Secret Clearance Required
- BA/BS Degree
- 5+ years of experience evaluating and advising on the integration of datalink and communication subsystems
- Knowledge of FTUAS or other Group 3 UAS/Unmanned Aircraft/Aerial Systems
- Familiarity of SWAP compliant technologies
- Knowledge of voice, data and command-and-control (C2) capabilities in an A2/AD (Anti Access/Area Denial Environment, Type 1 encryption
- Experience Analyzing data from both developmental and operational test events related to data link and communication systems
- Ability to asses system performance against contractual requirements & user capability needs null
