Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Navigation/Mission Systems SME to provide support to a client on Redstone Arsenal. The SME will be responsible for evaluating and advising on the integration of a variety of navigation and mission systems into multiple vendor offerings for the Future Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (FTUAS) rapid prototyping competition developmental test effort and follow-on operational assessment. The SME shall analyze data resultant from both developmental and operational test events and advise the Government on variety of navigation and mission systems performance versus contractual requirements, user capability requirements, and also advise the Government on the ability to meet pending or future anticipated requirements.
The SME shall conduct analyses of vendor production contract proposals and inform the Government effort in the areas of navigation and mission systems capabilities and proposal accuracy. Additionally, the contractor shall advise the Government in development and/or selection of navigation and mission systems that align with acquisition schedules, future user requirements, and the FTUAS S&T roadmap. The FTUAS is a Group 3 Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) with an air vehicle weight that will not exceed 250 lbs. Applicable datalink technologies include SWAP compliant GPS, Inertial, Vision-based Nav, mission computers, network switches, internal system timing devices, etc. The SME shall provide reports and briefings to senior management describing navigation and mission systems program status, issues, analyses, findings, results, recommendations, and conclusions as appropriate.

Skills and Requirements
DoD Secret Clearance Required
- BA/BS Degree
- 5+ years of experience evaluating and advising on the integration of navigation and mission systems
- Familiarity with applicable navigation technologies, (SWAP, GPS, Inertial Navigation Systems, Vision-based Navigation and internal system timing devices etc)
- Understanding of mission computers and network switches
- Ability to analyze data from both developmental and operational test events
