Job Description

A client in the Huntsville, AL area is looking for a Software Developer II to join their team and help this customer to detect, analyze, contain, eradicate, and recover from cybersecurity incidents. This individual will play a crucial role in designing, maintaining, and implementing Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) software while also utilizing available COTs software to the maximum extent practicable in designing software applications, avoiding implementation of a proprietary systems. The SD II will create software solutions based on specific requirements or methodologies. This will involve designing software tools that incorporate system calls to third-party utilities as specified. The SD II will be responsible for translating high-level, non-specific concepts provided by the government into practical software applications. This individual's expertise will extend to large and intricate software and systems, including web-based query and reporting systems.

Skills and Requirements

• Active Top-Secret Clearance with ability to sit for a CI Poly

• Extensive experience C#, Python, PowerShell and .NET

• Development experience with SQL, XML, WSDL, and Angular

• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or 10+ years in lieu of education * Experience deploying container-based solutions
